EtherCAT / NMEA0183 - Converter


This serie of products allows you to integrate a EtherCAT with a NMEA0183 net.

The HD67E18-A1 are EtherCAT Slave / NMEA0183 Converters.
They allow to interface an EtherCAT Master (like a Beckhoff PLC, OMRON PLC etc..) with a NMEA0183 net.


On EtherCAT side, there are 2 Ethernet ports for IN & OUT connections: they allow Line topology and Ring topology (for easy redundant communication).

Easy and fast integration of the Slave converters inside the Master configuration thanks ESI file, generated by FREE software compositor.


There are also two differnts order codes in relation of the type of serial port:
  • HD67E18-2-A1: NMEA0183 over RS232 / EtherCAT - Converter
  • HD67E18-5-A1: NMEA0183 over RS485 / EtherCAT - Converter
